Gary was selected by Meredith Publishing to design the 20th anniversary Idea Home.
Designers were interviewed by the selection committee from a four state area.
Gary was selected from this process and the design began. The critical guidelines were to design an up to date version of a classic farmhouse. It was also imperative that most of the products used were from advertisers in their magazine. Gary also worked closely with Meredith’s design team headed by Carol Schalla.
Gary then contacted Gradison Building Corporation to be the general contractor during construction. Gary presold the house to one of his clients that designed a lake cottage for as well as the husband’s corporate offices.
It was a fun and enjoyable process for everyone involved.
